Whether you’re looking for an exciting place for a family adventure, or a convenient campground to sleep for the night, SacWest RV Park and Campground has all the atmosphere and amenities you’ll need. We're located just off the highway, provide long, easy pull thrus with full hook-ups and have great amenities.
Camp near the state capital, where you can watch the legislature in action and tour the capitol building. Then explore Old Sacramento, the California State Railroad Museum, the Crocker Art Museum and Sutter's Fort. Meander through Gold Country and pan for fortunes. Enjoy river cruises on the Sacramento River. Shop at outlet malls or spend a hot day cooling off at Raging Waters.
Our campground offers 90-foot-long pull thrus, camping cabins by the fishing pond and ample tent sites for your group. Rent a bicycle, swim in the pool or go sightseeing.

Policies
If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.
• RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Please notify us by 4:00 PM two days before your scheduled arrival.
• Camping Cabins/Cottages: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify us by 4:00 PM one week before your scheduled arrival.
• Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
GROUPS: Contact the campground for special instruction regarding group cancellations.
Rules & regulations
General Information
Site numbers cannot be guaranteed. Sites will be assigned at the time of arrival.
Late Arrivals – An envelope with your name will be waiting outside the store with all of your site or cabin information. Stop by in the morning to register and pick-up your receipt.
Cabin/Cottage Check-ins – Remember to bring your linens and camping gear. Late arrivals will find the key and site map in the envelope with their name on it. A credit card is required to be on file for any rental lodge registration.
Pull Through Sites – All of our RV sites are pull through facing to the north. Many of our 30 amp sites share an electrical pedestal causing some guests to pass the electrical cord under the RV. While this rarely causes a problem, it is good to be aware of the location of your electrical box before you park your rig.
Expecting Guests? – Our insurance requires that all guests be registered. Be sure to have your guests stop at the office for a car pass. Note that the number of guests cannot exceed the site maximum. Call SacWest at 916-371-6771 for the maximum number of guests at your site. Note that extras charges may apply.
Holidays – Note that we often fill up for the holidays and weekends, and in the summer which may trigger additional guest restrictions and limitations on early check-in and late check-out.
Check in/ check out – Check-In is 2:00 PM for RV and tents, and 3:00 PM for all rental lodges. Call SacWest at 916-371-6771 for availability of early check-in on day of arrival only. Check-out is 11:00 AM for all rental lodges and 12:00 PM for RVs and tent sites. Check with office on day of departure for availability of late check-out. Late check-out fees may apply. Note that it's always better book a site and check out early than to not book and hope it's available.
Note that all vehicles must be self-contained; if not a tent is required.
Pet Policy:
We are a pet friendly park and we strive to ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. Dogs, cats and owners of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground. Dogs must be under the owners control at all times.
Dogs should never be left outside unattended.
Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.
