    We are located on 89 acres of forest land off Carmel Valley Road, just 5 miles from HWY 1. Nestled within oaks, Monterey pines, and redwoods, Saddle Mountain offers a great peaceful getaway for those seeking a break from the bustle of life. Experience Carmel Valley where the climate is tempered by the ocean just 15 minutes away. Our RV village offers 30-amp hook-ups, restrooms, free hot showers, wifi, cable, playground and we are pet-friendly.

    You can also enjoy our sparkling pool in the months of May to October. RV max length is up to 30ft.

    Pitch your tent on our cozy mountain amongst the trees and beautiful settings. Enjoy a short walk to our sparkling pool where you can relax under the gazebo with a propane fire pit. We also have fire pits (burning Duraflame logs only) for your campsite use as you gaze at the stars.

    Free hot showers/bathrooms are for our Saddle campers to use, and when you camp with us you can indulge in amenities such as ping pong, horseshoe pits, badminton or check out a board game.

    We welcome guests to try our Saddle Mountain trail up into the forest with beautiful views. Can’t wait to see you!

    Campground & RV Cancellation Policy:

    Cancellations made 48 hours (or earlier) prior to check-in time and date, a $20.00 cancellation fee will be applied and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded. Cancellation within 48 hours to check-in or not check-in/arrive on the date of the reservation (also referred to as “NO SHOW”), you will forfeit all payments made and any remaining dates of reservation will be cancelled. Please note that a different cancellation policy will apply for group bookings or reservations of 7 days or more.

    Reschedules/Changes: All requests for reschedules/changes must be made 48 hours (or earlier) prior to check-in time and date by email with confirmation number listed. Please note that price adjustments will apply to any reschedules/changes.

    Cabins, Luxury Tents & Bunkhouse Cancellation Policy:

    Cancellation 30 days prior: Can cancel up to 30 days prior to check in (3pm) date of arrival with a cancellation fee of 10% of your stay’s total cost or a $100.00 administrative/cancellation fee per site (whichever is greater). Cancellations within 30 days: Cancellations made within 30 days of check in or not check-in/arrive on the date of the reservation (also referred to as “NO SHOW”), will forfeit all payments made. All cancellation requests must be made by email with confirmation number listed.

    Reschedules/Changes: All requests for reschedules/changes must be made 30 days (or earlier) prior to check-in time and date by email with confirmation number listed. Please note that price adjustments will apply to any reschedules/changes.

    Rules & regulations

    Pets and Animals

    • Our RV, Walk-in, Drive-in, and Partial Hookups sites are pet friendly and can have a maximum of 2 pets per site at a $5 fee per pet per night.

    • Pets are not allowed in our Cabins, Bunk House or Luxury Tents with the exception of our Luxury Tent- Pet Friendly #50.

    • Our Luxury Tent – Pet Friendly #50 is our only pet friendly luxury tent, and has a pet fee of $50 per pet/per night with a maximum of 2 pets.

    • Pets must be on leash at all times. (CHAS code 18601 & California Code of Regulations)

    • Please pick up after your pet and dispose of it in the nearest trash can.

    • Do not leave your pet unattended in your site while you go out to enjoy a day excursion.

    Conserve Water

    • California experiences drought conditions year round. We ask that you conserve water when showering or while using the sink. Thank you!

    No Wood Fires

    • Wood fires are not allowed anywhere at Saddle Mountain Ranch. A minimum $150 will be assessed if evidence of burning wood is found at your site.

    • Charcoal and Duraflame logs* are the only fuel that may be used in the fire pits and BBQs at your campsite. Gas cooktops are welcomed

    • *Duraflame logs and charcoal are available for sale at Saddle Mountain Ranch office.

    Parking

    • Each cabin, RV & Tent site comes with 1 parking spot. Never park a vehicle in an RV site. Parking for an additional vehicle or utility trailer may be purchased at the office for a fee of $30.* Maximum vehicles per site is 2. *Based on availability.

    Public Areas

    • Because of the steady flow of traffic in and around our parking lot with a multitude of different vehicles all through the day, we do not allow bikes, skateboards or ball/soccer playing in the RV area or surrounding roads. Mountain bikes, however, are welcome on our trails at designated times. Inquire at the office for more information.

    Swimming Pool

    • Our pool is heated mid May through October and is open to Saddle Mountain guests from 10AM – 9PM.

    • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the pool and in the pool deck area.

    • Infants and toddlers are required to wear swimming diapers if they are going to be in the water. A baby changing table is available in the pool bathrooms. Please shower before getting into the pool.

    • No pets or glass of any kind are allowed in the pool, pool deck or children’s playground.

    WiFi

    • Saddle Mountain offers free wifi. It is strongest by the office deck. There is no password.

    Trash

    • Please place all loose trash and recyclables in the appropriate receptacles located around the park.
